TRAINING
Ŷ Never allow children or people unfamiliar with the
instructions to use the product.
Ŷ Keep the area clear of all bystanders, children and pets
while trimming. Stop machine if anyone enters the area.
Ŷ Never operate the product when you are tired, ill or
under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medicine.
Ŷ Use the product for cutting grass and light weeds only.
Do not use for any other purpose.
Ŷ Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible
for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or
their property.
ELECTRICAL
Ŷ Avoid unintentional starting. Always check that the
switch is in Off position before plugging in the tool to the
power supply. Do not carry a plugged-in product with
your finger on the switch.
Ŷ Electrical power should be supplied via a residual
current device (RCD) with a tripping current of not more
than 30 mA.
Ŷ Before use, examine the power cord or extension cable
for damage. If there are signs of damage, it must be
replaced by a qualified service technician.
Ŷ Do not use the product if the electric cables are
damaged or worn.
Ŷ If the power cord or extension cable becomes
damaged during use, disconnect from the power supply
immediately. Do not touch the electric cables until the
power supply has been disconnected. Do not repair.
Replace only with identical electric cable.
Ŷ Extension cable must be uncoiled during use. Coiled
cables can overheat.
Ŷ Make sure the power cord is positioned so that it will not
be stepped on, tripped over or otherwise subjected to
damage or stress.

power supply.

trousers.

properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service
facility.

Keep the working area free from wires, sticks, stones
and debris.
Ŷ Make sure the trimmer head is properly installed and
securely fastened.
Ŷ Make sure all guards, deflectors and handles are
properly and securely attached.
OPERATION
Ŷ Avoid using machine in bad weather, especially if there
is risk of lightning.
Ŷ Use the product in daylight or good artificial light.
Ŷ Avoid using on wet grass.
Ŷ Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
Ŷ Do not walk backwards when trimming.
Ŷ Walk, never run.
Ŷ Keep the trimmer head below waist level.
Ŷ Do not cut on surfaces other than grass on ground.
Ŷ Never operate the product with damaged guards or
without guards in place.
Ŷ Never fit a metal replacement line.
Ŷ Keep hands and feet away from the cutting means at
all times and especially when switching on the product.
Ŷ Never pick up or carry the product by the electric cable.
Ŷ Beware of objects thrown by the cutting line.
Ŷ Switch off and disconnect from the power supply before:
– servicing
– leaving the product unattended
– cleaning the product
