MAINTENANCE / SERVICE

• Always keep the tool clean

! remove the battery and water connection from the

tool before cleaning

- avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic part

• Nozzle Cleaning

! ensure that all nozzle maintenance is performed

properly to prevent water leaks

- use a brush to clean any foreign materials clogging or

restricting the nozzle in the holes of the nozzle while

ushing with water

• Filter Cleaning

- rotate the lter connector P counterclockwise to remove

the connector and metal washer Q ia

- pull the two movable rods of the lter outward at the

same time to remove the lter screen ib

- rinse the lter screen with clean water

- reinsert the lter screen into the lter, making sure it is

rmly in place

- reinstall the washer and tighten the connector



- rotate the connector S counterclockwise to remove the

connector and water inlet lter T o

- rinse the lter with clean water

- reinstall the lter and tighten the connector

• Storage p

- securely mount storage rail U on the wall with 2 screws

(not supplied) and horizontally leveled

- attach the storage adapter V and move it against the

mounting base of the storage rail U

- store the tool with the storage hole in the handle over

the tip of the storage adapter

• If the tool should fail despite the care taken in

manufacturing and testing procedures, repair should

be carried out by an after-sales service centre for SKIL

power tools

- send the tool undismantled together with proof of

purchase to your dealer or the nearest SKIL service

station (addresses as well as the service diagram of the

tool are listed on www.skil.com)

• Be aware that damage due to improper handling of the

Spray is not consistent

- nozzle partly blocked -> clean nozzle



Motor does not start or stops suddenly

- empty battery -> charge battery

- hot battery -> let battery cool down



Motor is running but spray is poor

- nozzle completely blocked -> clean nozzle

- water inlet lter clogged -> clean water inlet lter

- air in the pump -> ensure that water inlet connector is

securely tted

- inadequate water supply -> check that water tap is fully

open
